The pioneering American enterprise Airbnb Inc. is well-known for its online marketplace arranging short-term housing rentals, which often include long-term homestays. Officially launched in 2008, the company operates as a mediator between hosts and guests and earns by charging a commission from each successful booking; and New York City (NYC) generates one of its highest revenues under one of its extensive operations. Considering that, this paper will dive into the first seven years of business of Airbnb in NYC applying the CRISP-DM method.
