This analysis uses World Bank Gender Statistics to examine whether countries with smaller gender disparities in secondary school enrollment also tend to have smaller gender disparities in labor-force participation. The data were cleaned and reshaped in R, with gender gaps calculated for both education and employment. Using country-level data from 2023, the analysis compares regional patterns and evaluates the relationship between the two gender gaps using a scatterplot and Pearson correlation. The results suggest that greater equality in secondary education does not necessarily correspond to equally small gaps in labor-force participation, highlighting the multidimensional nature of gender inequality.
