Ranking South Africa’s Strongest: A Sinclair-Based Weightlifting Analysis
This project forms part of the Google Data Analytics Capstone, applying the full data analysis process — Ask, Prepare, Process, Analyze, Share, and Act — to a unique dataset on South African Olympic weightlifting.
The goal was to identify and rank the country’s best male and female weightlifters based on their Sinclair scores, while exploring performance trends across eras, weight classes, and lift ratios.
By combining historical records with visual analytics in R, this study highlights South Africa’s weightlifting legacy and provides data-driven insights for coaches, athletes, and sport scientists.

College Scores 4-year:
1) Based on your own thinking, suggest ten simple questions from diverse perspectives that can be addressed using Chapter 6 methods. The methods can be mean, median, variance, standard deviation, correlation, histogram, boxplot, barplot, or pie chart. Don't choose a question that involves more than two variables.
2) Use ChatGPT to help you propose 10 questions. This is independent of (1). You might need to put a restriction on the methods in Chapter 6, otherwise ChatGPT might return questions too complicated for you.
3) Choose final 10 questions, some from (1) and some from (2), and analyze them by R software. Try to use as many descriptive statistics methods you have learnt so far as possible.
