Chicago Study - Social Determinants and Health
This analysis identifies the spatial and geographic clustering of several social determinants of health and mortality indicators at the neighborhood level of Chicago. While it does not attempt to identify any causal link, it does use bi-variate correlation, and LISA analysis to identify and highlight areas of advantage and disadvantage in the city.
Chicago Flood Claims and Tree Canopies
This was an early project performed for my graduate level GIS for Web & Spatial Analysis class. It includes no data analysis, and is instead focused on practice data calls, projections, and using R to perform GIS tasks.
