Does Hotter Weather Mean More Ozone? A Regression Story from New York Air Quality
A basic linear regression of Ozone on Temperature using the air quality measurements of New York (1973). It was produced using the ggplot2 package and interactive plots were created with the Plotly package. The regression results indicate that there is an increase in Ozone levels of approximately 2.4 ppb for every 1 degree Fahrenheit increase. However, temperature does not account for all of the variation in the data.
