This project examines the relationship between human height and weight using the SOCR Heights and Weights dataset of 18‑year‑old individuals. We first compute descriptive statistics and visualize the data to understand its distribution. Next, we use Pearson’s correlation and simple linear regression to quantify how strongly height predicts weight and whether this relationship is statistically significant. The analysis is implemented in R and documented in an R Markdown report to ensure transparency and reproducibility.
