PLPA-Spatial Analysis of Food Deserts in Warsaw
This project investigates the spatial distribution of supermarkets in Warsaw and their correlation with population density in 2021. The primary objective is to identify “Food Deserts” —areas identified by high population density but limited access to food retail infrastructure. By employing Point Pattern Analysis and Poisson Point Process Modeling (PPM), we aim to uncover spatial inequalities in retail accessibility across the city.
