Phase one evaluates the relationship between birth weight, serum total protein, and subsequent milk consumption in calves, utilizing rigorous data-cleansing protocols to isolate physiological trends from data-entry artifacts. Phase two performs a quantitative assessment of feed efficiency (FE) within a lactating herd, utilizing milk component analysis (fat and protein) and dry matter intake (DMI) to benchmark herd performance against industry standards.
