This report processes chess tournament results using R. It organizes player and game information, calculates each player’s average pre-tournament opponent rating, and creates a CSV summary of all 64 players.

This report compares real estate book information stored in HTML and JSON files. I read both files into R data frames, standardized their column headings and title capitalization, and checked whether the data matched.

APPROACH For this assignment, I will work with flight arrival data for Alaska Airlines and AM West across five cities: Los Angeles, Phoenix, San Diego, San Francisco, and Seattle. The dataset contains the number of flights that were either on time or delayed for each airline and city. DATA SOURCE The data was recreated from the flight-delay dataset provided for the assignment. I organized the data in PostgreSQL and exported the table as a CSV file named airline_performance.csv. The original data is structured in a wide format, with each city represented as a separate column.

Data 607
