Co-expression network analysis in HTA
A co-expression network analysis was conducted to identify the most significant Module Eigengene associated with hypertension. The analysis utilized gene expression data, applying the Weighted Gene Co-expression Network Analysis methodology to construct gene co-expression networks. Modules, representing clusters of highly co-expressed genes, were identified and assigned unique colors for distinction. The association between Module Eigengenes and hypertension was tested. This allowed for the identification of the module most strongly correlated with the disease, providing insights into key gene networks and pathways potentially involved in the pathophysiology of hypertension.
