This report analyzes the NOAA Storm Database (1950-2011) to identify storm event types most harmful to population health, with tornadoes causing 97,022 casualties, and those with the greatest economic impact, led by floods at $150.3 billion. Using R, the data was cleaned and visualized to provide insights for disaster preparedness. Includes three plots comparing health and economic consequences.

The Box-Jenkins methodology to model and forecast GDP growth for Mexico using ARIMA models is implemented in this document. This workflow illustrates the practical steps in time series modeling, from specification and estimation to diagnostic checking and forecasting.
