This project explores the use of satellite-derived AlphaEarth channels to detect and visualise degradation in the Evergreen Succulent Thicket biome of South Africa. Over 200 fenceline contrasts were surveyed, where one side of the fence retains relatively intact thicket and the other side shows clear degradation. Importantly, even the “intact” sites are not pristine; rather, they represent a continuum between degraded and reference thicket. This makes them ideal for capturing the gradient of ecological condition. These will be used to generate a model to spatially map degradation across the Thicket Biome

A more refined and easy to follow iteration of aggregation techniques. The internal rates of return are better sourced and make for a much more stable looking Tornqvist index. Though proxies neede to be used which imply the money supply is much more responsive than prices. Maybe that has something to do with an underspecified model or an amalgamation of some of the determinants of the velocity of money. As such Mt captures more than just M, but also the determinants of V. The monetary policy approach to economic growth is questionable
