This project uses Crime Statistics Agency (Victoria) data on family violence offences (2014–2025) to explore statewide trends, differences across local government areas, and recent five-year changes. The analysis, created in RMarkdown, combines line graphs, bar charts, and heatmaps to present the findings in a clear and accessible way. The aim is to highlight how family violence remains a persistent issue in Victoria while providing insights that may support councils, policymakers, and community groups in planning services and responses.
