The Negative Binomial Regression Model was applied to assess the influence of industry experience, safety regimes, annual bonuses, and qualifications on injury rates. This method is suitable for count data, especially when the data is overdispersed (variance greater than the mean).This regression model provided insights into which factors were statistically significant in reducing injuries, such as the experience level of workers and the effectiveness of different safety regimes.

A mini-project expanded on the topic and dataset associated with an assignment from Coursera: Reproducible Research.
