Language-Based Assessment of Psychological Well-Being with Dimensional Prompt Design
This project develops and validates dimensional language-based assessments for psychological well-being. Specifically, we test whether dimensional prompts that explicitly allow respondents to describe both high and low levels of a construct produce greater linguistic variance and stronger convergence with validated survey measures than prior research has demonstrated with unidirectional prompts.
